Position: Customs Administrator
Reports to: Customs Team Leader

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
2. Obtain and communicate necessary information internally and externally to ensure correct measures are in place and customer needs are met.
3. Manage, print, and sort customer documentation.
4. Ensure documentation is obtained within set timescales.
5. Obtain accurate data from supplier websites.
6. Input data and maintain an efficient filing system.
7. Meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
8. Work effectively as part of a team and continuously improve processes.
9. Be available to work 1 in 4 weekends on a team rota.
10. Thrive in a performance-based environment measured by KPIs.
11. Advise customers on shipping details and provide necessary documentation.
12. Ensure compliance with import and export laws and regulations.
13. Resolve arising problems and complaints.
14. Continuously review and improve processes.
15. Liaise with customers to ensure all required documentation is correct and completed within tight timelines.
16. Upload data to systems, ensuring supporting documents are included.
Our Ideal Candidate
Qualifications:
A Level 2 in English & Maths is desirable but not essential.
Experience:
Previous experience in an import/export/customs environment is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Strong administration skills are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with diverse audiences across all areas of EV Cargo.
Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues and customers.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Well-organized and self-driven, with the ability to meet set deadlines.
