Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager with a strong background in residential construction to oversee and manage one of our current residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering residential construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards with an eye for first class detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Oversee all stages of residential construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Team Supervision: Manage and supervise on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
* Quality Control: Conduct regular quality and safety inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, and company standards.
* Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
* Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to budget constraints.
* Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Programming: Create and manage short and long term programmes electronically.
* Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, designs, and drawings, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
* Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may impact project timelines or quality, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager, specifically in residential construction.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
* Proficient in project management software and tools.
* Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with sustainable building practices and green construction methods.
* Familiarity with modern construction technologies and techniques.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
