The company is headquartered in Brunnthal / Munich, Germany and operates in the Netherlands, Romania, Canada, USA, UK, Denmark and India. We are now further expanding into the UK with our first site manufacturing Membrane Electrode Assemblies.
Your part in our team:
* Oversee all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
* Ensure accurate allocation of overheads to inventories, perform efficiency and effectiveness analysis of overhead allocations, and manage inventory adjustments.
* Prepare timely monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS and local government reporting requirements.
* Provide support for preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, report variances, and analyse financial data to support decision-making.
* Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
* Coordinate and oversee external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, and support month-end and year-end close processes.
What you should bring along:
* Proven experience (min. 4 yrs) in a similar role ideally in the manufacturing industry.
* Ability to manage and optimize growing accounting, controlling and tax processes.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
* Experience with inventory management and cost accounting.
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with ERP systems like proAlpha or SAP S/4HANA is preferrable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
