Minibus Sales Consultant The Company Automotivate is an exciting new business venture which provides consultancy and advisory services as well as training assistance, fleet management expertise and credit facility guidance for business owners who run light commercial vehicles. They have recently launched their dealership in Oxfordshire selling all makes of vans and converted vehicles. They are a sales agent for a reputable minibus converter whose products they sell from their showroom. They are also able to source any make and model for their customer base offering commercial vehicle solutions. The role Automotivate is looking for an experienced Minibus Sales Consultant to join the company and help identify and actively engage with new customers. You will be field-based with the ability to be in the showroom office once a week which is a 7,500 square-foot commercial showroom where they sell a mix of converted vehicles such as fridge vans, tippers, dropsides, and Minibuses along with used vehicles and some new vehicles. About you You will ideally have Minibus or LCV experience however, we would welcome applications for people who have sold business solutions, cars, agricultural equipment etc You will have a passion for the automotive industry, be able to develop relationships effortlessly and love a challenge. This is a field-based role and will require the successful candidate to be comfortable prospecting and generating new business. You will have a “hunter” mindset and be proficient in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM. Whilst the successful candidate does not require commercial vehicle experience, you will need to be quick to learn and have a knowledge of how to prospect and generate business. On offer Basic salary of between £24,000 - £27,000 depending on experience (OTE £66-£69k) This pays 15% of the vehicle profit per unit, uncapped commissions, a company vehicle (Hybrid Petrol) and eligibility into their company bonus scheme. The business hours are 8-5:30, with the employee expected to work an 8-hour day. However, the business is less concerned about the hours worked and more with the results Offering flexibility where required.
