Job Description
Job Title: IT Leader – Project Management
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £60,000 plus, depending on skills and experience with an executive car allowance and bonus on top.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing project budget, forecasting and progression.
* Creating, reviewing and submitting business cases and bid proposals.
* Controlling and directing resources to meet business and functional priorities whilst managing the performance of deployed multi-disciplinary project team.
* Operating Project/Programme management processes for Risk, Issue, Dependency and Actions.
* Chair Steering Boards and other governance processes.
* Continuously work on improving our Processes, controls and strategy.
* Supporting the generation of Product Delivery Roadmaps.
* Executing functional / product group financial control processes and forecasting.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Good project management experience.
* Strong experience within forecasting and budgetary control across complex projects.
* Proven experience within the use of Agile Method / SAFE Method.
* Strong Stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
* Experience of Siemens Portfolio of Products is desired.

The IT Project Management team:
By joining the team, you will be working with our customers and partners to deliver innovative enabling technologies to our major programmes – defining and standardising our ways of working to ensure that our projects are successful and meet the expectations of our business. You will have overall control of large-scale transformation and implementation projects across the engineering community.
