This is a well-established, but growing firm based near Ellesmere Port, with over £150m worth of assets under management, having good access from motorway and public transport links. They are expanding their advisory function and are currently seeking a Senior IFA Administrator to support the advisers and contribute to the firm's development.
Job Description
* Preparing client portfolio valuations, producing illustrations, and processing new business.
* Arranging meetings with clients for the advisers.
* Handling client requests and queries.
* Preparing letters of authority.
* Managing pension transfers and withdrawals.
* Compiling suitability reports for the Financial Adviser's approval in accordance with company policy.
* Assisting with basic research for advisers.
* Sending reports and investment information to clients.
* Accurately inputting data into the system for clients.
* Ensuring tasks are completed within specified timelines.
The Successful Applicant
* Previous experience in an IFA or financial planning firm.
* Experience in processing new business, preparing client valuations, and transfers/withdrawals is advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications and platforms like Quilter, AJ Bell, etc.
* Up-to-date knowledge of current FCA Legislation.
