To support in creating a Continuous Improvement (First Choice) culture within the business by engaging all employees with First Choice principles, tools and methods. Reviewing current processes and ways of working within all business functions in order to leverage improvement opportunities to include efficiency gains and cost reduction. Application of DMAIC methodology to identified projects both within and across functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote continuous improvement through the use of First Choice principles, tools and methods across all functions and sites within DHL eCommerce UK.
* Drive a cultural change across DHL eCommerce UK to adopt a Continuous Improvement mind set and culture.
* Train, coach and embed First Choice tools across DHL eCommerce UK.
* Deliver First Choice Champion training and provide ongoing support and coaching to Champions in First Choice principles, tools and methods.
* Act as project manager for identified opportunities using the DMAIC methodology within individual business units and with cross-functional teams.
* Manage the project from initiation through to implementation and ensure all required steps taken to ensure successful adoption to business as usual.
* Deliver projects to agreed timelines and use agreed escalation processes if risks arise.
* Through all activities undertaken ensure clear business improvement outcomes and realisation of benefits are achieved clearly demonstrated using data i.e. improvement in KPI, cost reduction.
* Deliver activities designed to improve employee engagement & improve process performance across DHL eCommerce UK.
* Continuous communication of First Choice principles, tools and methods to the business and the benefits they bring across DHL eCommerce UK.
* Perform activities to result in an improvement of the First Choice EOS score.
* Complete root cause analysis to gain insights and solve problems for the business.
* Complete process mapping to gain insights, identify opportunities and solve problems for the business.
* Reviewing processes end-to-end, through the eye of the business, customers, and other key stakeholders, and introducing innovation into the process with impactful results.
* Influence key stakeholders across DHL eCommerce UK.
Minimum Requirements:
* Excellent Microsoft Office experience, specifically Excel with working knowledge of data analysis.
* A full UK Driving licence.
* Experience of working within a corporate environment, preferably in a business with multi-site operations and an extensive customer base in B2B & B2C markets.
* Working knowledge of DMAIC methodology.
* Demonstrable experience of delivering initiatives, change, training and people/cultural management. Strong interpersonal skills to coach, influence, listen and support teams and individuals is essential.
* Green Belt Six Sigma / First Choice Advisor experience would be a distinct advantage.
