Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices, managing employee expenses, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. In addition to the core responsibilities, the role will also provide opportunities to support other finance administration tasks as needed. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Invoice Processing: Process approximately 600 invoices per week in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all relevant details are captured.
* Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors to resolve any issues regarding invoices, payment terms, and discrepancies.
* Data Entry: Accurately input invoice data into the accounting system, ensuring all entries are correct and up to date.
* Payment Processing: Assist with the preparation and execution of payments, ensuring timely payment of all outstanding invoices.
* Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements with internal records to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Reporting: Assist in the preparation of regular reports on accounts payable status, including outstanding invoices and aging reports.
* Expense Management: Review and process employee expense claims in accordance with company policy, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place.
