Regulatory Compliance Officer (Alcohol) – 18 hours.
Fixed Term Contract – 18 months from commencement in post.
About the role:
A unique opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Compliance Officer to work within the Trading Standards Service. Protecting our communities is at the core of Wirral Council and as a Trading Standards Regulatory Compliance Officer you will contribute to the effective delivery of the statutory service using a wide range of consumer protection legislation ensuring goods and services sold within the Borough are safe and legal.
About the Candidate:
You will assist in the delivery of the service by working with colleagues in Public Health to deliver specialist projects over a two-year period linked to tackling illicit and illegal alcohol products in the Borough, age restricted sales and business and consumer education programme.
