Compliance Advisor
Location: Dorking, Surrey - hybrid working
Sector: Insurance
Responsibilities:
1. Identify, analyse, and communicate regulatory changes while overseeing business compliance with new requirements.
2. Provide compliance support for new and existing products and services.
3. Advise management and project teams on regulatory and substantive business issues.
4. Deliver compliance training to ensure regulatory rules and principles are embedded.
5. Maintain expertise in FCA/PRA requirements and standards.
6. Ensure compliance with Information Security policies and report any security concerns.
7. Understand and apply principles of Conduct Risk, Treating Customers Fairly, Consumer Duty, and Risk Management.
8. Adhere to Unum’s Code of Conduct and other company policies.
Requirements:
1. Insurance industry experience ideal.
2. An excellent understanding and awareness of the UK financial regulatory framework.
3. Proficiency in insurance and group risk protection products.
4. Relevant qualification in Legal, Internal Audit, or Compliance.
5. ICA Certificate/Diploma (preferred).
