Sales Manager – Total Plumbing/Renewables With sales in excess of £90m across 40 sites and a team of 500 people, LBS Builders Merchants, South Wales’ largest independent builders’ merchant is looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Plumbing and Heating Sales Manager to oversee the sales operation through all our Total Plumbing outlets and the Renewables Division. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company’s goals. Duties will include: Monitoring Branch Ledgers and branch target ledgers - ensuring that the branches maintain their customer ledgers and target new customers. Management of 2 External BDM’s, ledger management/growth, setting sales/margin targets, driving growth, identifying new customers and opportunities. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets. Achieve company sales and margin targets for each branch/division. Report on Sales against targets each month. Formulate and implement sales plans for under-performing branches against target. To collaborate with marketing team to deliver promotional programme to all customers. Propose and agree products/ranges to be promoted as part of the programme. Working with the Product Category Manager on Product mix, to include core products priced to sell and increase volumes, added value products and product range launch/re-launch to increase awareness. All promotions conducted with the aim of increasing profitable revenues. To set prices for marketing promotions to maximise revenue ie. Increase volumes with strong margin sales. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a sales management role within the plumbing and heating industry or a related field. Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating products and solutions. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
