This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, confident, agile professional with a strong Financial Services background and a thorough understanding of FCA Regulations to guide and influence an established ExCo as they take the next step on this exciting journey.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain, embed, and enhance the third-party supplier framework
2. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and processes
3. Manage third-party suppliers for performance, quality, cost, and contract obligations
4. Develop strong relationships with SLT members and key stakeholders
5. Monitor supplier performance through regular reviews, KPIs, and SLAs
6. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure business continuity
7. Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and supplier onboarding
8. Provide strategic advice on procurement matters to support executive decision-making
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function
Skills and Experience
1. Proven experience in a senior procurement role within financial services.
2. Strong background in supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement compliance
3. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
5. Experience in driving value through a total cost of ownership approach
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions: Hybrid working: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
