Job Description
Commercial Analyst duties include:
* Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making and business growth.
* Performance Monitoring: Review daily and weekly trading performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and contribute to weekly performance data and commentary.
* Data Consistency: Regularly evaluate commercial and operational data to ensure uniformity across reporting channels.
* Margin Optimisation: Identify opportunities to maximise margins through cost and revenue analysis.
* Pricing Analysis: Model and evaluate the impact of pricing strategies, assessing outcomes to inform further decision-making.
* Financial Support: Assist the Finance Team with managing supplier invoice workflows and general ledger entries.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will:
* Have a proven track record in a similar role
* Have strong analytical and numerical skills
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Be proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
* Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
* Be comfortable presenting analytical data to colleagues across the business
