Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Congleton
Contract Details: 3 months Temporary ongoing contracts with potential future opportunities
Salary: Hourly rate from £13.96 (training rate) to £14.31 (after training completed). Overtime payable at 120%, 150%, 160%, or 200% dependent on completion time

Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production line or sequence, ensuring all processes are controlled.
Set up and manage the production schedule to meet targets.
Perform quality checks and ensure high standards are maintained.
Continuously monitor operations, making corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs and maintenance.
Assemble, test, and inspect electronic assemblies as part of a team on a rotating shift pattern.
Set up and operate production machinery and equipment.
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Previous experience in production, warehouse, manufacturing, mechanical, or assembly environments (desirable but not essential as full training will be provided).
Effective communication skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing production requirements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow repeatable processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Manual handling capabilities, including extended periods of standing.
Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Technical or mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of surface mount technology and electronic assembly processes.
Technologies:
Experience with production line machinery (preferred but not essential).
Training provided for specific technologies used in the role.
