A permanent position has arisen for an Admin Assistant in the Endoscopy Department who will be part of the Clinical Administration Unit.
This position is pivotal to help provide an efficient, well organised administration service. The applicant should be a team player who can prioritise their own workload and also assist in helping the booking team.

• Filing of case notes, results, reports etc and sending to relevant consultants and GP’s.
• Requesting case notes for procedures.
• Booking in and out of case notes on computer system.
• Photocopying as required. Assistance with distribution of postal requests and internal paperwork.
• The competent use of Patient Centre and Endoscopy software system (training will be provided)
• Answering the telephone and dealing promptly with all enquiries.
• Dealing courteously and efficiently with enquiries from members of the public, doctors, nursing and other staff.
• Deal with non-clinical queries from patients, their carers, general practitioners and members of administrative and clerical teams.
• Manage the unpredictable work pattern of the role, to be able to prioritise the workload from the frequent interruptions, i.e. telephone calls, staff members.
• To liaise with Maidstone endoscopy department.
• To undertake any other duties which may reasonably be required
