Aspire people are looking for SEND teaching assistants in the Nottingham area!
We are looking for a dedicated professional that has experience working with SEND students, that would be able to support in both mainstream and SEND schools.
Position: Temporary and day-to-day support with the potential of full-time/permanent positions in the future.
Location: Primary and SEND schools in Nottingham.
Experience: Must have UK-based experience working with children, ideally in an education setting. Experience working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
Availability: Flexible day-to-day working, possibility of regular full and part-time work.
What does the role involve:
1. Supporting teachers in the classroom.
2. Working 1:1 with children.
3. Working with small groups.
4. Managing classroom resources.
5. Managing heightened behaviours and keeping children safe.
6. Creating a positive and safe environment for all learners.
