Head of Indirect Procurement (CAPEX/OPEX) Coventry or Somerset, Hybrid What you’ll do… The Head of Indirect Procurement (CAPEX/OPEX) is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services for the development of our large-scale battery manufacturing facility. This is a hybrid role with frequent travel to site in Somerset and some international and domestic business trips. Reporting into the VP – Indirect Procurement, you will: Be responsible for CAPEX/Indirect purchasing. Managing a team of high performing procurement specialists and lead all indirect procurement activities across the function. Lead and manage the RFI, RFQ, Cost Comparison, Zero based costing, negotiation & awarding process. Establish beneficial working relationships with various internal groups across the organization as well as external vendors and suppliers. Manage complex projects from conception through implementation, including change management. Survey new construction sites and coordinate with vendors for site visits Who we are… Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. The team you’ll join… You will be joining a dynamic group of driven individuals, specialising across multiple supply chain and logistics arenas. Being a relatively new department, you’ll play a critical part in creating purchasing and supply chain processes and be a key driver of efficiencies, cost-savings and sustainability within the organisation. What you’ll bring… Proven experience in Indirect Sourcing for automotive or manufacturing, preferably in green field or brown field projects. Strong capability of sourcing and vendor management. Knowledge of utilities equipment in industrial facilities. Excellent project management and departmental leadership skills. Ability to break down the cost of utility equipment and cross verify with OEM. Strong communication, analytical and negotiation abilities.
