Job Description:
* JOB TITLE: Assessment of Value Data Analyst
* SALARY: £28,329.00
* LOCATION: Harbourside, Bristol or Edinburgh
* HOURS: Full-time
* WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About this Opportunity:
As a Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:
* Sourcing, analysing and interpreting large data sets, identifying trends, and providing insights to support internal Committees.
* Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness and develop reports to communicate findings to partners.
* Independently sourcing and validating external 'Assessment of Value' information from multiple sources for over 7,000 investment assets (such as funds, Investment Trusts, and ETIs) held on the Scottish Widows Platform.
* Planning effective data collation and presentation in an appropriate database.
* Providing advice and guidance to others using the database.
* Collaborating with other teams to understand their business needs and provide insights and recommendations based on findings.
* Preparing analysis and creating stories from our data, communicating the findings and recommendations clearly to internal teams and committees.
* Sharing and publishing as required within the organisation.
Working as part of the team, our ideal team member will have previous experience in implementing data controls, data validation, data profiling and data cleansing with excellent prioritisation skills.
