With health and safety being a nonnegotiable part of any successful farm or rural business, play a central role in guiding farm businesses through times of uncertainty.
In this consultative role you will be working within a well-established team advising farmers and keeping your clients well informed and compliant, making what can be a very overwhelming and time consuming area of business run as smoothly as possible.

The role in brief :
Ensure that client farm operations adhere to all relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice set forth by governing bodies such as DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs), the Environment Agency, and local authorities.
Maintain accurate records of all activities related to compliance, including permits, licenses, inspections, and any remedial actions taken.
Ensure that all required documentation is complete, up-to-date, and easily accessible for regulatory audits or inspections.
Support implementation of environmental stewardship programs aimed at minimizing the farm's ecological footprint and promoting sustainable practices.
Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all farm personnel.
Conduct inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and address them promptly.
Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as farm managers, supervisors, and workers, to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
