A range of secretarial and clerical skills will be required to autonomously support the smooth running of day-to-day administration tasks for a designated Consultant. You will be pivotal in liaising with other medical secretaries in the team, enabling a cohesive team approach to facilitate outstanding compassionate care. It is essential you are able to provide support to the Consultant Psychiatrist whilst ensuring conflicting demands are managed, provide onboarding support with new medical staffing teams joining the team, as well as supporting medical trainees/placement students under the lead of the Consultant Psychiatrists. The post is based at St Mary's Hospital, Kettering although the team provides cover for the Northamptonshire area. You will need to be able to travel to other team bases and NHFT sites as required, therefore a UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes are essential. NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work, or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
