A prestigious RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice based in Chelmsford requires an adept Architect with experience operating within the Residential sector to join their expanding team.
This firm specializes in delivering top-tier consultancy, innovative designs, and impeccable service across a wide spectrum of projects, including housing, commercial, education, leisure, listed buildings, and major urban design schemes. After numerous successful years, they have expanded by opening additional offices nationwide and are showing no signs of slowing with the growth of their business – making this an exciting time to come on board!
As a result of this expansion, there is a need to add a talented Architect to their dynamic Chelmsford office. This role would see the Architect collaborate with a highly talented and friendly team to work upon a range of projects from concept to completion – largely within the Residential sector delivering projects for big-name House Developer clients.
Architect Key Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the design process from inception to construction completion
2. Conduct site visits, project evaluations, and advise on regulatory requirements
3. Collaborate with clients to develop feasibility reports and design proposals
4. Produce detailed drawings and documentation for planning applications
5. Liaise with construction professionals and regulatory authorities
Architect Requirements:
1. Recognised RIBA/ARB Part III qualification in Architecture
2. Experience within the Residential sector would be highly desirable
3. Proficiency with AutoCAD & Adobe Creative Suite essential
4. Proficiency with Revit & SketchUp – highly desirable
5. Knowledge of UK Planning Policy and Building Regulations
6. Strong communication, organisational, and design skills
7. Proactive, collaborative, and innovative mindset
