What you'll doWe are hiring Building Safety Case Developers to join our fantastic team Are you looking for a new challenge where you can put existing skills and experience to use?As a Building Safety Case Developer, you will be at the leading edge of Building Safety. You will use your investigative skills and network, plus working closely with the Building Safety Managers to source building information, developing a body of safety related data. This will form a Safety Case, as required by the Building Safety Act 2022, for all our high rise buildings. You will identify gaps in information, working with internal teams to ensure that the necessary information is available. This work will demonstrate that major hazards related to fire and structural safety are being managed effectively.The Safety Case report needs to be well written, professional argument of facts to make a case to the building safety regulator that a building is safe. So you'll need experience of professional report writing.We are looking for enthusiastic people, who like being busy, are solution focused, are comfortable analysing data and writing reports. You will need to be a resilient, a confident, effective communicator, who can work well under pressure, and is self motivated. How you'll do itProduce an allocated number of Building Safety Cases, within a specified time-frame in accordance with the Safety Case template.To ensure compliance, complete Safety Cases to a required standard set by the Regulator, shielding NHG from criminal liability, financial penalty and reputational riskPrepare Building Safety Reports, using complex data and informationEnsure that all data/information within the case is accurate and that data governance and Golden Thread Principles are maintained.Liaise with internal teams to retrieve required information/data for the case within strict deadlinesTranslate complex information requirements to the business and relevant stakeholdersKeep abreast of any regulatory updates, secondary legislation or outcomes of consultation that may impact the information/contents required for the safety case.
