The Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC) is a leading, not-for-profit awarding organisation. We deliver high-quality accredited qualifications to centres internationally and produce beauty, complementary, and spa therapy graduates of the highest calibre.
The role:
To manage our CIBTAC Team and oversee the day-to-day running of CIBTAC whilst completing the required Quality Assurance processes and protocols of pre and post-examination requirements. You will organise and carry out required CIBTAC audits throughout the year, hold weekly team meetings, and will be part of the CIBTAC Education and Qualification Development Teams.
We are looking for someone who has technical subject knowledge, education experience, is process-driven, proactive, has exceptional time management, and is adaptable with a can-do attitude, who instinctively takes responsibility and ownership of tasks and enjoys working in a fun and close-knit team environment.
The key areas of focus within the role include:
1. Organise and host CIBTAC team meetings, 121's, training, and development.
2. Liaise with CIBTAC Centres for troubleshooting, advice, and guidance.
3. Ensure all paperwork is processed in a timely and accurate manner to meet examination deadlines and SLA's.
4. Oversee and contribute to the pre and post procedures of the examination process.
5. Organise, conduct, and oversee yearly audits for centres and production of relevant documents as required.
6. Conduct quality assurance processes with regards to examination papers, results, and certificates.
7. Support growth and be instrumental in the development of the business.
8. Uphold, maintain, and develop Ofqual and governance requirements.
9. Support colleagues and other areas of the business as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Essential requirements:
1. A teaching qualification and a minimum of 2 years active teaching experience in a private training or further education setting (PGCE/Cert Ed/DTTLS desirable).
2. Subject qualifications and experience for your industry.
3. An assessor qualification.
4. An IQA qualification.
5. Excellent administrative and communication skills.
6. Exceptional attention to detail.
7. Exceptional time management skills.
8. Strong competence in using MS applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
9. A good level of secondary education.
10. Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team.
Desirable requirements:
1. Subject qualifications for the beauty industry.
2. An EQA qualification.
