ASSISTANT SENDCO/TEACHING ASSISTANT
GRADE 6 (SCP 9-15) £26,409 - £29,093 FTE
(Pro-rata - £23,399 - £25,777)
Term Time only, plus five Inset days and five additional days during school holidays
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant SENDCO to commence as soon as possible. This post provides the opportunity to work closely with the SENDCO to support students at Stafford Manor High School and will be term time only, plus five additional working days during the school holidays. You will also be expected to join the five Inset days per year.

You will have the ability to engage students in their learning and promote high SEND achievement, good progress, and positive behaviour. Using your initiative and creativity, you will support the development of our SEND students’ experiences and contribute to the school’s continued success.
You will be expected to:
* Support with external agencies, SEND professionals (virtual school / LA / Autism Outreach)
* Provide pastoral support to pupils within the school environment
* Participate in the comprehensive assessment of pupils to determine those in need of particular help.
* In conjunction with the teacher, develop and implement Individual Education/Behaviour/Support/Mentoring plans.
* Support provision for pupils with additional needs.
