Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join their team to assist with optimising legal processes and drive the development and enhancement of a Case Management System (CMS). As the IT Business Analyst, you will be expected to collaborate with legal teams, stakeholders, and the IT team to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for legal processes and technology initiatives. You will split your time between working in the office in Brierley Hill and home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the Product Owner for the Case Management System, managing the product backlog, prioritising features, and defining requirements or user stories.
* Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit detailed business requirements and process improvements.
* Translate complex legal process requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for development teams.
* Work closely with the development team and third-party vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Skills Required:
The successful candidate must have 2-3 years of demonstrable experience within an IT Business Analyst role, and preferably some experience working within legal, compliance, or regulatory environments, although this is not essential. You should also have:
* Proficiency in process modelling, requirement gathering and documentation, and business analysis tools.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of bridging the gap between legal professionals and technical teams.
