1. To deputise for the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children in their absence
2. Support staff who have direct involvement with adults, children and families to prevent the risk of significant harm or abuse, via the Safeguarding Advice Line, Safeguarding Supervision, and other mechanisms
3. Provide and receive highly complex and sensitive information related to safeguarding for single and multi-agency safeguarding work, including Gloucestershire Child Death Team, Children's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC).
4. Collaborate with colleagues within the Trust and with partner agencies in developing high standards of practice in relation to the management of safeguarding matters
5. Leading on, and undertaking safeguarding related audits
6. Develop and deliver training packages related to safeguarding, including corporate induction, Level 1, Level 2, and Neglect
7. Produce safeguarding related communications, such as newsletters, five-minute guides, and safeguarding practice review learning summaries
8. Contribute to the Local Children Safeguarding Partnership (GSCP) Children sub groups as required
9. Participate in single and multi-agency safeguarding reviews, including writing Individual Management Reviews and safeguarding practice review learning and recommendations
