About the role As the Public Relations (PR) Manager in this fast growing, global law firm, you will be responsible for implementing and prioritising activity that aligns with the firms strategy. Reporting into the Head of Communications, you help raise the profile of the practices through proactive and strategic media relations that generates frequent coverage. Key responsibilities: Develop and sustain strong relationships with journalists across key legal, trade, and mainstream media outlets. Regularly create opportunities for Partners and lawyers to share insights with the media by closely tracking trends and developments in our sectors, enabling tailored and impactful pitches. Prepare press releases and secure media coverage Establish and advance PR strategies for each sector group, collaborating closely with the marketing and business development team, Partners, lawyers, and other firm members. Collaborate with the Communications and M&BD teams to effectively utilise content, expertise, and initiatives to drive PR opportunities. Apply key metrics to assess and report on the ROI and impact of PR activities and coverage, using insights to enhance future PR efforts. Key attributes: Proven experience in a PR role - preferably from a professional services organisation or an agency. Existing media relationships Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid analytical skills (e.g. for business reporting tasks) and a structured way of thinking Ability to effectively influence and work with senior stakeholders
