The Role:
GAP Group have an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join our growing IT Team based within our Glasgow Head Office. The systems development team are responsible for defining the overall structure of the business' IT systems and processes. The team is focused on improving business efficiency using new and improved systems and technologies. The Business Systems Analyst role is responsible for developing our ERP System (Infor M3) by analysing internal processes and requirements and translating these into technical solutions. They will also be involved in performing ERP system upgrades and working with external vendors on integration and development projects.
About You
Successful candidates should demonstrate the following:
•Significant background in system improvement projects ideally involving ERP systems experience in both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
•Proven ability to analyse business processes and requirements whilst proposing effective solutions.
•Ability to create documentation to support the team and end users whilst supporting change control for systems enhancements.
•The ability to define scenarios and run structured system testing for new and existing systems.
•Proven experience and creating and analysing and documenting testing schedules within business critical services.
•Effective stakeholder management skills and experiencing working with 3rd party vendors and developers.
•Experience in customer facing environments and site visits.
