1st Line Support Engineer
Salary: £225 a day
Status: Inside IR35
Location: Fareham, Hampshire – Hybrid
Duration: 6 Months
1st Line Support Engineer Role and Responsibilities
As the business's new 1st Line Support Engineer, you will be a key part of the team, focusing directly on triaging and supporting internal tickets acting as the first point of contact. The day-to-day responsibilities of the role include:
* Acting as the first point of contact for the internal team.
* Supporting and ticket logging issues.
* Escalating tickets to the 2nd Line Support Engineer when necessary.
* Managing incoming support tickets, whilst also working proactively.
* Providing regular, professional, frequent, and relevant customer communication.
Skills and Experience Required for the 1st Line Support Engineer
* 1 year of experience working in an Infrastructure Support based role.
* Experience in triaging and logging tickets.
* Able to troubleshoot issues across Office 365, Microsoft Suite, and Licensing.
* Knowledge of Office 365, MACs, and the Full Microsoft Suite.
* Ideally have worked within a busy support desk.
* Must be able to interface with both technical and non-technical customers.
