Role: Onboarding Team Leader Team: People Services Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm Location: Liverpool/ Hybrid Salary: £30,000 Bonus up 10% What you will be doing: Leading the onboarding function to support the recruitment process to allow for a smooth process for employees to join the company. This includes financial regulatory approvals Leading on process reviews, innovation and implementation to ensure maximum quality and efficiencies in all on boarding processes ensuring any changes are reported to the Manager and engaging with the business and key stakeholders. Support the Manager to raise commercial awareness within the team, building understanding and highlighting expectations on our role as a function and how we support the business Support the manager to enhance the overall service levels to the business and improve efficiency Communicating to the teams including business updates and team objectives, goals and targets Develop a strategy for gaining feedback and using the feedback to drive positive change Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the business support management with hiring and processing of new team members taking responsibility for training, ensuring training plans are in place and regularly reviewed 1st point of enquiry for team members assisting with questions, problems, and escalation issues Develop strategies to promote team member adherence to company rules and regulations. Ensure daily team huddles and regular 1:2:1’s, including probation review are being completed reviewing and highlighting any concerns to manager Acting as point of escalation for team and business Ensure all regulatory compliance is adhered to and accurately verified in line with regulatory requirements Ensuring GDPR is met and procedures are put in place to ensure this is not breached There will be the need for more adaptive thinking, particularly when dealing with more complex or unusual queries What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a recruitment onboarding function Knowledge of financial and regulatory clearance processes Previous supervisory experience Working knowledge of current UK visa approvals Ability to work well under pressure, multitask with accuracy Experience working to tight deadlines and SLAs Excellent communication skills Lead the team by example ensuring a positive and professional approach at all times Understanding of audit processes Experience working in a regulated environment is preferred Recruitment knowledge would be beneficial With over 40 years of experience, Acorn Insurance is a specialist provider dedicated to helping individuals secure motor insurance across the UK.
