Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sr. Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by creating meaningful connections with our prospects. This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of the sales development process.
* Utilize strategic outreach tactics, including cold calls, email campaigns, and social media engagement, to generate high-quality leads
* Conduct in-depth research on target accounts to inform outreach and personalize communication
* Engage prospects through thoughtful conversations to uncover their business needs and qualify opportunities for the sales team
* Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop targeted account strategies and follow-up tactics
* Maintain meticulous records of interactions with prospects and manage leads efficiently within our CRM system
* Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions to share learnings and continuously improve our approach
* Train and mentor junior SDRs, sharing best practices and guidance to enhance team performance
* Consistently meet or exceed quotas for lead generation and appointments set
Requirements
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in sales development or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment
* Proven track record of generating leads and developing a robust sales pipeline
* Strong understanding of sales processes, including lead qualification and nurturing
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
* Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), sales automation tools, and data enrichment platforms
* Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and share insights with peers
* A self-starter attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow within the sales profession
