The University of Warwick, Psychology Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work as part of the UKRI research grant ‘’CONTAIN: CONtact Tracing, Infection and Transmission: An iNterdisciplinary approach” funded by UKRI and led by Professor Robin Goodwin with his team at the University of Warwick alongside colleagues at the Universities of Southampton, Oxford, Chulalongkorn University Thailand the Universities of Ghana and University of Development Studies, Ghana.
The successful candidate will work with Professor Goodwin on this interdisciplinary project, liaising with colleagues with expertise from psychology, theatre studies, virology, history, mathematics, computing, cultural studies. epidemiology and geospatial studies to try to better understand and model the notion of human “contact” in the context of emerging infectious diseases. The researcher will be based at University of Warwick but may be asked to attend in person short meetings in Thailand and/or Ghana.
The proposed start date is November 2024 (TBC).
