FM Conway is currently searching for a professional Highways Site Agent to join our Major Projects division. As our Highways Site Agent you will regularly attend site visits across Kent, London and Sussex. You will play a key role within our Major Projects division by ensuring the smooth running of sites through regular liaison with both clients and the teams on site. This full time, permanent role will be based from our head office in Sevenoaks.
The duties of the Highways Site Agent will include:
- Ordering plant and materials to support the smooth running of the works programme
- Monitoring and maintaining records of plant, labour and materials together with works additional to the programme
- Monitoring works to enable the accurate submission of accurate monthly invoices and final account settlement
- Ensuring that all works (including snagging) are completed to both a timely and satisfactory standard
What skills and experience do you need?
We are searching for a professional Highways Site Agent who has a previous background working within civil engineering works. The successful individual must hold the ability to plan, coordinate and allocate resources, prepare risk assessments and method statements whilst ensuring health and safety regulations are being adhered to. Highways experience is also essential as well as an ONC, HNC or degree in civil engineering.
