Temporary Contract to cover a Secondment We are looking for a highly skilled, qualified social worker to join us in the role of Team Manager in the Children in Care Team. About the post: The post holder will be responsible for the leadership and management of the team consisting of Deputy Team Managers, Senior Practitioners, Social Workers, Family Support Practitioners and Administrators. We are seeking someone with extensive knowledge of children s social work practice including looked after children, child protection and adoption. The post holder will also have experience of supervising and supporting staff in relation to casework practice and decision making. Applicants need to have very strong organisational skills to manage and prioritise their work effectively and in a timely way. This excellent opportunity will play an essential role in ensuring that vulnerable children and families receive responsive services that safeguard and promote their welfare.
