The AEG Global Partnerships team oversees the worldwide sales and activation of sponsorships for AEG’s entire portfolio of assets. Creating customised and innovative marketing programs for established and emerging brands it has created some of the most iconic brand partnerships in the entertainment industry, including The O2 in London and Coachella Music Festival. Overall, the division manages naming rights deals and other strategic partnerships. The division of AEG Global Partnerships operating out of London is responsible for all AEG sponsorship assets outside of North America including Europe, Asia, South American and Australia.
AEG Presents is one of the world’s leading companies in live entertainment promoting memorable sell-out tours for the world’s biggest artists. AEG Presents European Festivals owns and operates American Express presents BST Hyde Park (London), All Points East (London), Rock En Seine (Paris) and Forwards Festival (Bristol).
The Partnerships Director (Activation) will be responsible for managing the team that oversees all partnerships across the AEG Presents European Festival portfolio for the Global Partnerships division outside of North America. This person will be adept at working with big brand partnerships across multiple projects and naming rights partners. You will ensure execution and results are achieved at the highest standard with a key passion for brands and music.
Main Activities
* Responsible for the delivery of all partnerships across the expanding AEG Presents European Festival division
* Individual will form part of the AEG Presents Europe Festivals Senior Leadership Team
* Lead a team in developing and implementing all aspects of partnerships from marketing, ticketing to production
* Management of Loudsound partner operations resource
* Work with brands on core mid to long-term strategies and delivering this across one or multiple properties
* Drive the commercial objectives of Global Partnerships through the renewal of key partnerships and finding appropriate commercial enhancements within contract.
* Lead for all contracting across partner renewals and working closely with sales team on new deals and cost management
* Strong commercial thinking to recognise opportunities for partner upsell and work with Senior colleagues to bring these proposals to life
* Implement monitoring & evaluation methods for partner activity to ensure positive ROO outcomes
* Lead and develop relationships between partners and internal stakeholders to ensure activation is delivered successfully
* Take ownership of assigned projects or responsibilities to support the wider partnerships team
* Develop and present annual reviews for nominated partners
* Demonstrate a good understanding of the entertainment and events industry and future trends in sponsorship
* Management of fulfilment budgets and spend reporting
* Ensure that all materials and resources are effectively and efficiently utilised to minimise waste and reduce costs
* Manage challenging situations with partners and internal colleagues as effectively as possible to ensure a positive solution is achieved
* Create and optimise systems of working to ensure all partner needs are met in a timely and effective manner, including finance, administration, etc.
* Support wider AEG Presents Global Partnership projects as required
