Role Overview: The Product Designer Graduate Scheme is a unique 2-year programme where you’ll gain practical experience and in-depth learning in product design within the building industry. Over two years, you will work closely with our Executive leadership team and be mentored by experienced professionals as you manage your own product development projects.
What You'll Do:
* Conduct market research and explore changes in the building industry to spot new product ideas and opportunities.
* Establish design briefs, write product specifications, and use CAD tools (e.g., Creo) to bring your ideas to life.
* Produce 3D models, prototypes, and technical drawings, ensuring designs meet the required standards and specifications.
* Work with cross-functional teams and develop your leadership and teamwork skills through dedicated training.
* Evaluate and test models to ensure they meet functional requirements and comply with regulations.
* Contribute to cost, carbon reduction initiatives and lean manufacturing processes within the business.
The Programme:
* Hands-On Experience: Work on live projects, supported by a mentor and leader to guide you through every step.
* Specialised Training: Receive training in product design, leadership, lean principles and health & safety practices.

Who We're Looking For:
* Degree in a product design discipline.
* Experience with 3D CAD software, ideally Creo will be an advantage.
* Curiosity & Problem-Solving Skills with a proactive approach to researching and solving complex design problems.
* Teamwork & Communication with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
* We need individuals who are adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn.

* Salary: September 2025 £29,000 Year 1
* Salary: September 2026 £31,000 Year 2
* Annual Bonus: Annual Bonus of 10% Linked to achieving objectives
* Location: Based at a UK Genuit Site (Manthorpe Building Products)
* Expenses: Expenses covered for business travel
* 3 Months Notice period
* 25 days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
