Role Overview As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business, building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring their needs are met through our range of utility solutions. Your role will involve a significant amount of time spent in the field, meeting with clients, and providing tailored solutions that enhance their experiences. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in your designated territory, using effective prospecting techniques to generate leads and convert them into clients. Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential and existing customers, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions that align with our offerings. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding our services. Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services in the utility sector, enabling you to effectively communicate their benefits to clients. Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach, networking, and follow-up efforts, contributing to the overall growth of the company. Collaborate with the marketing team to provide insights on customer feedback and market trends, helping to shape future campaigns and product offerings. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management using CRM software to ensure effective follow-up and reporting. Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge in the market. Requirements Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK (unfortunately, we cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas). Must be available to work full-time. Must not have applied for any Imperial Consulting roles in the past 30 days. Proven experience in sales or a customer-facing role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, building rapport and trust quickly. A proactive and goal-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
