Job Description
Experienced and detail-oriented Quality Engineer required by our client, an award-winning construction company, near Basingstoke.
This role involves working within the project delivery team, supporting quality best practices, conducting audits, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Salary & benefits: Up to 46k (DOE) plus benefits, including: Employee Assistance Programme, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), social events, bonus scheme, WFH (agreed locally), Pension and more.

Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry (ideally building services/interior fit-out) and be passionate about delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities & Main Tasks:
1. Provide accurate and timely guidance to the project team to foster a culture of quality excellence.
2. Ensure processes are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle using the correct tools, materials, and procedures.
3. Review quality documentation for compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
4. Assist the Lead Auditor with quality audits and inspections.
5. Collaborate with the project teams and suppliers to produce Lifetime Records (LTQR's).
6. Report on quality performance metrics to support project progress.
7. Analyse non-conformance data to identify improvement opportunities.
8. Build and maintain strong working relationships with client and contractor quality teams.
9. Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
1. Membership of the CQI or actively working towards it (preferred).
2. Strong understanding of quality tools and techniques.
3. Experience in the construction industry (building services/interior fit-out).
4. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Security:
The appointed person will need to undergo a BPSS and a high-level MoD security clearance upon commencement of the role. To support your application, you must hold a British Passport with UK residency status.
