As an Agency Day Process Technician, you will report directly to the Day Process Supervisor and will be in charge of supporting plant operations by facilitating the flow of bulk and packaged materials on and off the site.
In addition, you will support the shift teams in some processing activities, e.g. Drumming and de-drumming, filtration, and blending.
Main Tasks:
* Check daily tanker movements against the daily movements schedule; cross-referencing order numbers and products.
* Check conditions and weights of road barrels to ensure cleanliness and compliance with loading procedures.
* Check and complete effluent plant tasks as per procedures.
* Loading and unloading of road barrels and ensuring that they are labelled correctly before leaving the site.
* Complete the drumming and de-drumming of IBCs and drums.
* Follow Bulk Transfer Operating Discipline adhering to Line Integrity Check procedures.
Required Skills:
* Outstanding approach to personal safety as well as the safety of others.
* PC literate.
* Communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
* Good organizational and planning skills.
* Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time.
* The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Good attention to detail and accuracy.
* Full UK driving license preferred. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
* Process Level 2 Technology or equivalent preferred.
This role is for an Agency Day Process Technician with an ongoing contract. The successful candidate will be employed via an external Agency.
