Due to the continuing development of the Economics and Business department, we are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified and skilled teacher to join our growing team.
Business and Economics are popular GCSE option subjects, with 6 classes across the current Key Stage 4 cohort. A Level Business in the Sixth Form is regularly oversubscribed.
We are looking to recruit a passionate teacher with the skills to engage and realise the potential of our GCSE and A Level Business students. The ideal candidate will also have experience of teaching GCSE Economics and will be welcomed into a department of highly experienced and supportive colleagues.
Ofsted (2024) commented that (pupils) “are active participants in their learning and consistently demonstrate high levels of focus … teachers are experts in the subjects they teach … pupils’ conduct and manners are exemplary … any disruption to learning is incredibly rare… staff are extremely positive about the support that they receive from leaders…particularly around their professional development and well-being”. The inspection included a deep dive into several subjects including Business Studies.
