Technical Advisor
Salary: £up to 40k
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, core working hours
Location: Fareham / Southampton
Dynamite recruitment is working in partnership with a very well-established business. Due to expansion, our client is looking for someone to join their Technical team and support clients with any technical issues that they have.
Work alongside the other areas of the business to help grow and develop the support service and improve a post-install service.
Key tasks will include:
1. Manning a technical support phone line, helping to diagnose issues over the phone and support customers with their technical queries.
2. Supporting the management and administration of the CRM system that’s in place.
3. Liaising with installers and customers to arrange installations and technical work.
4. Working alongside a technical support manager to grow and develop technical support within the business.
5. Supporting with any issues onsite and assisting with the completion of installation for the customer.
6. Remote troubleshooting, accessing customers' systems, and liaising with partners to identify and resolve issues.
7. Liaising with customers via online chat, phone calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiries.
8. Supporting with new product introduction, including product testing, data entry, and completing test reports where required.
9. Supporting the ongoing development of existing products.
10. Assisting with warranty returns, tracking faulty equipment, and facilitating the completion of the return and replacement/refund process.
11. Producing reports and statistics as required.
The ideal Technical Advisor will have/be:
1. Previously worked in a senior technical support role.
2. Assertive, resilient, and adaptable to change.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
4. Good IT skills, including Word and Excel.
5. Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
6. Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines.
7. Excellent attention to detail.
8. Ability to work as part of a team.
9. Experience in the Solar industry, specifically with Growatt systems or similar.
10. Experience in troubleshooting post-installation issues.
