We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual, to join our team as a Senior Housekeeper based in the Cancer & Haematology Day Treatment Unit (DTU), Churchill Hospital, Oxford. We care for patients with malignant tumours or blood disorders, requiring chemotherapy and other supportive treatments.
The unit is open Mon – Fri : – :hrs; Sat : – :hrs. The unit has treatment chairs and we treat approximately patients per day.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, with an enthusiastic, committed and professional approach. Candidates should be excellent team players with the ability to use their own initiative and judgement to resolve issues. They should also have a tactful, sensitive manner, work well under pressure, with a flexible approach and a willingness to suggest ideas for improvements. No previous NHS experience is needed, just an ability to demonstrate compassion and a commitment to learning new skills.
