We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to join the PE Department here at E-ACT Merchants Academy Secondary.
It is a genuine requirement that the post holder be female for reasons of privacy and decency of students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Have high expectations of learners to ensure they achieve their full educational potential.
2. Set challenging teaching and learning objectives which are relevant to all students in your classes.
3. Select and prepare a range of resources that take into account all students' learning needs, languages, and cultural backgrounds.
4. Have knowledge of a range of approaches to assessment, including questioning, oral assessment, and self-assessment and the importance of formative assessment.
5. Make effective use of a range of assessment monitoring and recording strategies to assess the learning needs of your students in order to set challenging learning objectives and plan for future teaching.
Pay range: MPS1 UPS3 (FTE 31,650 £49,084 per annum)
Qualifications And Skills:
1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or recognised equivalent.
2. Degree in subject specialism.
3. Have passion for learning and teaching.
4. Believes in the right of every student to fulfil their potential.
5. To be an outstanding practitioner, with the energy to inspire, motivate and challenge students.
