Job Description
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm.
The purpose of the role is to provide IT Infrastructure support to users based at supported sites across the UK and Ireland.
Responsibilities:
* Provide desk-side and remote support to users, including resolving hardware and software issues.
* Adhere to KPIs and SLAs.
* Set up, configure and install new PCs and associated equipment in accordance with company procedures.
* Provide local support for desktop, server and network infrastructure equipment.
* Open to work off site at Eurofins locations within UK and Ireland with regular travel to supported sites.
* Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
* Partake in any developmental training as required in compliance with the Company Standard.
* Promote a professional image of the Company and comply with the Company's Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policies.
* Comply with all relevant Health, Safety and Security Regulations.
* Read and comply with Company rules, procedures, agreements and any notices displayed by the Company.
* Participate in covering on-site and off-site support as part of a shift rotation.
* Occasional weekend and evening work as required by business needs.
* Participate in on-call/standby support outside office hours.
* Prepare technical proposals for improvement together with line manager.
* Create and maintain working documentation, such as SOPs and FAQs.
Qualifications:
* Valid UK Driving Licence.
* In-depth knowledge and experience of supporting appropriate versions of Microsoft Windows.
* Strong hardware support skills, including maintenance of PCs, printers and other associated equipment.
* Experience in basic Windows Server administration, including AD user creation, password administration, Group Policy, etc.
* Experience with Microsoft Exchange/Outlook client.
* Strong Microsoft Office support skills.
* Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
* Strong communication skills.
* Able to work alone and as part of a team.
* Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own work.
* Excellent time keeping.
* Appropriate experience in a similar support role.
* Adhering to SLAs and meeting KPIs.
* A+, Server+ or similar accreditation.
