Pay Rate: £13.69 to £15.83 per hour

Reeson Education is recruiting a passionate and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a truly special SEN school in the BL7 area of Bolton. This Teaching Assistant role is to start as soon as possible and will run on a full-time, long-term basis-with the potential to become a permanent member of the team.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils of primary age who have a wide range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, PMLD, SLD, MLD, SEMH, behavioural needs, and physical disabilities. The school has a strong focus on outdoor learning and animal therapy, offering pupils a creative, nurturing, and therapeutic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
1. Work in class and 1:1 as a Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with complex SEND.
2. Support pupils' emotional regulation, engagement, and access to learning.
3. Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams.
4. Help implement bespoke learning plans and behaviour strategies.
5. Embrace the school's values of inclusion, kindness, and creativity.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:
6. Be a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistant .
7. Have experience supporting pupils with a range of SEND.
8. Be confident working across a sensory and therapeutic curriculum.
9. Thrive in a team-focused and holistic learning environment.
10. Be comfortable working outdoors and engaging in creative, active sessions.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
11. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
12. Right to work in the UK.
13. References covering the last 2-3 years.
14. A strong desire to make a difference in the lives of pupils with SEND.
