The Role
As a Registered Children’s Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the care and well-being of children in our home. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, positive, and nurturing environment while maintaining full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote the welfare and safety of children and young people while protecting them from harm.
* Ensure full compliance with Ofsted’s Framework for Inspection and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
* Lead the Ofsted registration process to become the Registered Manager of the home.
* Recruit, manage, and supervise a team of passionate and skilled Children’s Support Workers.
* Develop a high-quality care framework tailored to the specific needs of children with autism, learning disabilities, or complex health needs.
* Ensure the delivery of effective assessments, interventions, and individualized care plans.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional standards within the home.
About You
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and compassionate leader who shares our vision for delivering outstanding care.
Essential Requirements:
* A minimum of two years of experience working in a children’s home within the last five years.
* At least one year in a supervisory or management role in a children’s home.
* Experience working with children and young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or a willingness to begin within three months of appointment).
