IT Manager UK & Ireland
Job Purpose
The IT Manager, based in UK, is responsible for the management of all IT services for Recordati UK Office and Recordati Ireland Office and chemical plant, in agreement and coordination with the Recordati Group ICT.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluation and procurement of IT services: managing the budget and ensuring that new service provision is complimentary to existing infrastructures and drives efficiencies.
* Ongoing management of key service providers.
* Responsible for IT office support service: acting as escalation.
* Evaluate, procure, implement and maintain equipment provision.
* Maintain systems and equipment provision.
* Manufacturing (Ireland).
* Development and projects: undertake projects in collaboration with Recordati Group ICT.
* Compliance and policy: ensuring adherence to GDPR and data security principles.
Required Education
* Educated to degree level or equivalent.
* Relevant IT qualifications or computer/technological education programme.
* Any IT systems, support or system administration certifications are advantageous.
Required Skills And Experience
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role.
* Excellent time management skills, and the ability to achieve tight deadlines.
* Able to work on own initiative.
* Previous experience of administration of hardware and software systems.
* Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work flexibly when reasonably required.
Technical Competencies
* Knowledge of cloud-based technologies (especially Microsoft 365).
* Experience with a range of communication IT tools.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft technology (identity and profile, Windows Server).
* Good experience of supporting Windows desktops, MS Office Suite and Smartphones.
* Understanding of standard network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.).
* Basic network, security and cyber security knowledge.
* Knowledge (user knowledge or greater) of: SAP (of one or more of the following modules FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, PM) DMS and QMS systems.
* Experience with GMP and Computer System Validation. Manufacturing data analytics solution is a plus - for the Ireland chemical plant.
Required Behaviours And Competencies
* Possess excellent communication skills, both face to face and telephone.
* Good supplier management skills and ability to work with 3rd party providers to achieve desired outcomes.
