Who we’re looking for: We’re seeking a passionate, talented, and results-driven marketing professional to join us as the sole marketeer, responsible for driving our brand, team, and software into the market. While experience in B2B SaaS or telecoms/IT sectors is not essential, it will be highly advantageous. You’ll have the unique opportunity to shape and execute our marketing strategy, focusing on key customer challenges and market opportunities. Using customer personas and value-driven messaging, you’ll lead our efforts to communicate our proposition effectively to the IT and telecoms sectors. This role will allow you to develop into a leadership position as the marketing team expands in the future. What You’ll Contribute: Research & Analysis: Conduct audience and competitor research to inform strategy. Collaborate with internal teams to define customer personas and develop messaging. Perform ongoing keyword research to discover opportunities. Keep up to date with competitors and industry news. Content & Campaigns: Write and proofread B2B content (blog posts, social media, email campaigns). Manage the company’s social media presence and content calendar. Develop and implement SEO strategies and paid media campaigns. Maintain and update the website (experience with Webflow or similar CMS is a plus). Design, edit, and optimise marketing materials for sales enablement. Collaborate with external suppliers for projects such as design or video production. Product Marketing Support: Draft customer announcements and email updates for product feature releases. Collaborate with the product team to proofread and update help articles and other documentation, ensuring they are customer-friendly and have a marketing spin to highlight benefits and ease of use. Assist with creating product-focused marketing materials, such as product videos, feature explainers, and customer onboarding content. Events & PR: Identify and manage exhibition, conference, and award opportunities. Lead event planning, execution, and pre/post-event marketing. Source advertising opportunities with media partners. Provide regular editorial content to trade and media publications. Performance & Analytics: Track and report on campaign performance, including analysis of key metrics. Ensure marketing activities are aligned with budgets. Continuously optimise future campaigns based on past performance data. Your skills and experience: To excel in this role, the following skills and experience will help: 1-4 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or technology sectors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate technical details into customer-friendly content. Knowledge of CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and CMS. Basic understanding of SEO, PPC, and social media management. Strong content creation skills, including writing and basic design. Ability to analyse data and adjust strategies accordingly. Self-motivated and creative, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
