Logistics People are looking for Refurbishment Technician Engineers to join our team.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00 Shifts Available
Pay rate: £16.21 P/hr
Position: Refurbishment Technician Engineers
As a Refurbishment Technician Engineer for Logistics People, your role will consist of various duties including but not limited to:
1. The Refurbishment Technician Engineer will play a key role in maintaining and helping improve the existing upgrade process, ensuring quality and efficiency.
2. Support leading the refurbishment team, developing and training all team members.
3. Manage all activities within the process to drive productivity and maximize profitability.
4. Support the site management team in adhering to environmental, safety, and security policies.
5. Engage in positive interaction with colleagues to manage performance.
6. Act as a communication channel between Refurbishment Shift Managers and colleagues.
7. Effectively deploy skills during shifts.
8. Identify training needs and arrange training via Refurbishment Shift Managers.
9. Train new colleagues to a company standard skill base and existing colleagues in advanced modules.
10. Enter all training into the upgrade training matrix.
11. Collaborate with and coordinate with the management team as requested.
12. Escalate issues to management and resolve problems where possible.
13. Ensure accuracy of work and quality monitoring in all areas.
14. Maintain housekeeping and organization of resources.
15. Address quality issues and escalate for action.
16. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
17. Create Tuesday and Thursday team training meetings for both shifts.
18. Ensure all colleagues wear the correct PPE and arrange replacements as required.
19. Conduct accident investigations as directed and escalate near misses and incidents.
20. Ensure the team follows SOPs correctly.
21. Address potential hazards and escalate where required.
22. Produce new sound booth lists periodically to cover the current workforce.
23. Cooperate with management regarding individuals’ knowledge to ensure fair work allocation.
24. Deal with external customers in person.
25. Attend 121 with Line Manager.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in electrical and mechanical repair work.
2. Professional power tools, inspecting & fault finding experience.
3. Experience in PAT testing (certificate required).
4. Ability to recover and fix products.
5. Ability to provide feedback on fault finding in a professional manner.
6. Provide evidence of common faults professionally upon client request.
7. Produce monthly return fault videos clearly explaining product descriptions, return reasons, mechanical and electrical issues, and repair solutions.
8. Set up new external working relations with technical services to meet production requirements.
9. Maintain PAT machines ensuring timely calibration and repairs.
10. Maintain compressors bi-monthly and when required.
11. Accurately record all PAT/Compressor maintenance including items for external repair.
12. Experience in using standard office packages; Word, Excel, etc.
13. Previous experience of managing a team is an advantage.
