We are seeking an experienced Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join a dedicated substance misuse service in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Pharmacist with a passion for delivering high-quality care to individuals experiencing substance use challenges.
Provide safe and effective prescribing within a substance misuse setting
Work within a multidisciplinary team to support individuals in their recovery
Assess, diagnose, and prescribe within the scope of NMP practice
Ensure compliance with best practice guidelines and clinical governanceEssential Requirements:
Registered Nurse or Pharmacist qualification
NMP qualification (Level 6 or 7 for pharmacists)
Strong understanding of substance misuse and related health issues, including mental healthDesirable:
Experience in clinical leadership, supervision, or student mentorship
Previous prescribing experience within substance misuse services

Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams within a healthcare setting.
Experience in training and developing staff, as well as implementing service improvements.
A background in palliative care and a strong understanding of clinical governance.
Experience in conducting audits and research projects to support best practices.Skills & Competencies:
